PUZZLE IT OUT!
4K likes to exercise our brain muscles and practice thinking outside the box. The T Puzzle is one activity we tried. Students were given 4 puzzle pieces and were asked to form the pieces into a capital T. They used problem solving skills, patience and resilience to come up with the solution.

MARVELOUS MACHINES!
Thanks to TESPTO we had a fabulous enrichment program. The focus was on engineering skills and simple machines. Mr. Mankita brought in tons a materials and allowed the children to construct their own Rube Goldberg machines.
Students spent two hours fully engaged, trying things, failing and trying again, over and over. This program was on the outside about physics, but covered so much more. Children learned to learn from failing, learned to persist and learned to work as a team.
