"EGG"CELLENT EGG DROP!

What happens when objects collide? This was our essential question. We have been studying energy and how it changes and transfers when objects contact other objects.

As part of this unit, we worked on designing a way to protect an egg from a fall off the roof! Teams worked together to create a design that would somehow reduce the impact of the egg's kinetic energy as it collided with the ground. 

Step One:

Have Mr. Jones, our multi-talented custodian, drop the protected eggs one at at time.

Step Three:

Check on eggs.
